PAST ACTIVITIES
The object of the Foundation is to promote and organize
various forms of teaching according to a continuous
post-graduate training programme in the field of Plastic
Surgery.
To carry out this programme, the Foundation established
a formal affiliation with the Carlo Erba Foundation,
a prestigious Milanese Medical Organization to share
a common cultural and scientific experience. Similar
relationships were later established with other Milanese
Organizations to carry on this programme.
Outstanding researchers and clinicians from all over
the world were invited to hold conferences
and lectures in the field of Plastic, Reconstructive
and Aesthetic Surgery under the aegis of the Fondazione
Sanvenero Rosselli.
PRESENT ACTIVITIES
Since 1997 the training programme with formal lectures
has been discontinued, in favour of courses
mainly devoted to Aesthetic Surgical procedures.
The courses are held on a regular basis. Their objective
is to demonstrate both operatively and through didactic
sessions the latest innovations and techniques in
Aesthetic Surgery.
They provide a forum for audience participation with
the well established Q&A formula. Presentation
of difficult cases, complications with commentary
by the course Director and faculty members is an integral
part of the panel, which takes place each time.
Up until now course directors were:
Gilbert Aiach (Paris), Alfred Berger (Hannover), Paolo
Castelnuovo (Pavia), Claude Dardour (Paris), Olivier
De Frahan (Paris), Helga Eder (Bruxelles), Frank Elliott
(Atlanta), Axel-Mario Feller (München), Alain
