INTRODUZIONE AL CORSO
COURSE OBJECTIVE
La regione
periorbitaria rappresenta uno dei territori
anatomici più stimolanti per il chirurgo
plastico. In uno spazio così ristretto
le modifiche da effettuare sono numerose
e le richieste da parte del pubblico sono
in continua crescita: dal sollevamento
del sopracciglio, alla blefaroplastica
superiore e/o inferiore, all'incremento
degli zigomi, all'armonizzazione tra palpebre
e guance. Chi ha partecipato al corso
avrà una chiara idea dell'anatomia della
regione periorbitaria e dei rapporti estetici
tra sopracciglio e palpebra superiore,
tra palpebra inferiore e guancia. Verranno
mostrate le differenti tecniche di sollevamento
del sopracciglio, del ringiovanimento
della palpebra superiore, inferiore e
giunzione palpebro/geniena. Verranno esemplificate
le complicanze, la maniera di evitarle,
e soprattutto le tecniche per porvi rimedio
una volta insorte. Due chirurghi plastici
di fama internazionale presenteranno le
ultime novità nel campo del ringiovanimento
periorbitario, lifting sopraccigliare,
blefaroplastica lifting del terzo medio.
The
periorbital region is currently one of
the most challenging arenas for the plastic
surgeons. The demand for correction increases
continuously from brow elevation, to upper/lower
eyelid correction, zygoma enhancement,
blending of eyelid and cheeks. After attending
the course the participant should have
a clear understanding of the aesthetic
relantionship of the brow to the upper
lid, the lower lid to the cheek area,
and the entire periorbital region. The
participant will also have a clear understanding
of the anatomy of the area and the anatomical
modifications which lead to a successful
periorbital rejuvenation. The various
methods for lifting the brow, rejuvenating
the upper lid, rejuvenating the lower
lid and lid/cheek junction will be presented.
The participant will also be aware of
the complications and steps taken to minimize
the risk of complications and procedures
to deal with complications should they
arise. Two internationally renowned plastic
surgeons present the latest innovations
in the field of periorbital rejuvenation,
brow lift, blepharoplasty, middle third
face lift.
Foad
Nahai, M.D., former professor of Plastic
Surgery at Emory University (Atlanta)
is well known for his relevant contributions
to Plastic Surgery. He is the Author of
more than 135 publications in peer reviewed
journals, 6 books (among them the well
known Mathes e Nahai Atlas of Muscle
and Musculocutaneous Flaps); and 35
book chapters. He is currently Secretary
of the American Society for aesthetic
Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and Secretary
General for the International Society
for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).
Gilbert Gradinger, M.D., program
Director of Aesthetic Surgery in the Plastic
Surgery Dept. at University of California,
San Francisco. His main interest includes
the periorbital area and blepharoplasty
in particular.
Il
Corso coincide con il trentesimo anniversario
della scomparsa del Prof. G. Sanvenero
Rosselli (1897-1974), fondatore della
chirurgia Plastica in Italia. Rappresenta
un omaggio alla Sua memoria.
