He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. Currently he represents the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth.) and the British Ophthalmic Plastic Surgical Society (BOPSS) on the national Cosmetic Surgery Interspecialty Committee (CSIC) and BACP (British Academy of Cosmetic Practitioners). He also represents the RCOphth. and BOPSS on the BSI (British Standards Institute) and CEN (Communite European Normalization) committees for the regulation of safety in aesthetic procedures. He is a founder member of the BOPSS. Nominated by the committee of BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) as an interspecialty member for his contribution to the training curriculum and educational lectures to the plastic surgical community. He has an interest in reconstructive ophthalmic plastic surgery in craniofacial anomalies. He is the co-founder of the Craniofacial Ophthalmic Plastic Service (COPS), widely recognised for its holistic paediatric and adult facial surgery. He is also known for his practice in aesthetic surgical rejuvenation.
